My budget did surprise me. I knew that there would be many expenses, but I never factored in living expenses. I expected to only have to pay maybe three fees maximum, but there is so much more. Housing, car, utilities, etc. I also realized that I will need a job that pays a lot more than minimum wage.I dont think I could afford college on my own without my parents. I don't think I am ready for that much responsibility. I have realized that adulthood is not far away, and I still think of myself as a kid. To prepare for those responsibilities, I have to do very well in school to get scholarships also save up, and cover many of the expenses now by having a job in high school.

I do not think I could pay for college on my own either because it is super expensive. Even having a job may not cover all the bills and even if it does there might not be that much money left for personal use.
ReplyDeleteThose are some good ideas as to getting ready for College, maybe you should look into living in a dorm, its a lot less expensive.
ReplyDeleteLooking into scholarships will definitely help you in you college with your books and classes. It will be well appreciated when you need the money for it.
